MFA Graduation Exhibition
Tyler School of Art, Temple University, Philadelphia, PA.
Artist statement.
DENIAL
It never happened. There was no communication possible between the artist and any viewer during the exhibition.
DELAY
Nothing came of it. Nobody knew about it. It wasn't written about. It was an unknown project. So there are lies about a project that nobody knew about. I was very secretive about it. I thought about building a project. It was a completely hidden operation. Nobody knew about the strategy. I didn't want to hide anything.
DECONSTRUCTION
It didn't mean anything. It had no influence. It had no effect and no result. Let me be very clear. I have said this many times. I have accepted intelligent contradictions. Most artists would have accepted the show. The show was a series of contradictions. Or even relational opposition. I finally decided to do it. If I had not done it, there would have been nothing if I had not done it. If I had done it, there would have been nothing. It was my business. Even if it had been set up properly, it would not have mattered because I was allowed to do whatever I wanted for the exhibition. I showed my work. There was a lot of concealment in the installation.
